~ After checking the Announcements, be sure to check the Calendar for other events and happenings which may be of interest. WEDNESDAY CRAFTS GROUP has projects in the making and would be grateful for "more hands." At present, they are working on pinecone penguins, Christmas balls, hairbows for children and for the four weeks prior to the UMM Seasonal Bazaar on November 5, will be making Christmas wreaths, etc. If you can lend a hand, join m\them anytime on Wednesdays, from 9 am 'til 11 am in Fellowship Hall. FOOD PANTRY NEEDS: Jelly, dry milk, cereal, jelly, boxed potato sides, juice, cereal, tea bags, lots of jelly, and Kool-aid for the children, please. We are in need of EVERYTHING! We are alsway grateful for your blessings of generosity!
TUESDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY "It is Written" resumes September 7 at 10:00 am in Classroom S-3 in the Sanctuary building. Sign up in the Lobby of the Sanctuary. For details, CLICK HERE
UMM DINNER Monday, September 13 at 6 PM in Fellowship Hall. Tickets $5.00 at the door. Reservations requested, but not required. Sign-up at the Welcome Center in the Lobby of the Sanctuary. Check calendar for details.
TIME CHANGE United Methodist Women Unit Meeting in Fellowship Hall on September 16 will begin at 9:00 AM with refreshements. The meeting will follow at 9:30 AM. Future Unit Meetings will follow the same time schedule.
UMM ANNUAL FLEA MARKET Saturday, October 16, 2010 from 8 AM to 2 PM. We will start collecting your treasures Wednesday and Friday mornings from 8 AM to 11 AM in the garage area behind Fellowship Hall starting Wednesday, August 18. For details, CLICK HERE.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY with knowledge of two-and four-stroke engines to help service, adjust, and repair the lawn equipment for the Friday Work Crew. If you are available to maintain a variety of lawn equipment so it is safe and relible to use, please contact either John Wolfe at (352)666-7902 or Dan Brown at (352)683-6842.
NEW RECYCLE BIN We are getting a new recycle bin. You will be able to bring more than just newspapers. Our new bin, located by the Courtyard, will also accept clean carboard (no dirty pizza boxed), office paper, envelopes, junki mail, magazines and phone books. By recycling here you will be helping the environment and helping the Church receive a nicer rebate!

CHRISTMAS CONCERT with Earnie Haase and Signature Sound for a return engagement, Saturday, December 18 featuring our Youth and Chancel Choir as well. Ticket prices will be the same as they were in March ($15 to $30) and most likely will go on sale in September.
