But, for right now, until that completeness, we have three things to do to lead us toward that consummation: Trust steadily in God, hope unswervingly, love extravagantly. Edwards Her undergraduate degree is in Elementary Education from the University of Florida and she earned her M.Div from Asbury Theological Seminary, Orlando, FL. If there is any passion that defines her life, it would be to encourage others to listen and respond to God’s call, as it is uniquely expressed in each one’s life. There is both mystery and joy in the adventure of saying: She is both, a Florida native and lifelong Methodist. She is married to Steve Edwards, a building contractor. Together they raised their three daughters in Ocala, FL. Two are now married and she and Steve delight in their new grandson. After responding to God’s call to ministry in the midst of being a wife and mother, June has served three churches in the Florida Annual Conference ~ Forest UMC, Silver Springs, FL; Druid Hills UMC, Ocala, FL; and is currently serving her third year as the Executive Pastor at First UMC, Lakeland FL.
